The stone imagery on the Gemsprings home page is illustrative. It is computer-generated artwork commissioned for this site, not photographs of specific stones held in stock, and no image here should be read as a picture of an item offered for sale. Every stone we quote is photographed individually and sent to you directly.

Where a photograph of a real specimen is used elsewhere on this site and it is not our own, it is reused from Wikimedia Commons under a licence permitting reuse with attribution, and it is credited on this page. There are currently no such photographs in use.

If you are a rights holder and something here is credited wrongly, write to hello@gemsprings.com and it will be corrected or removed.

Cookies and
analytics

Two things measure traffic on this site, and they are not the same.

Cloudflare Web Analytics runs for everyone. It counts page views, countries and referrers. It sets no cookies, writes nothing to your device and collects no personal data, so it needs no permission.

Google Analytics runs only if you accept it. It does set cookies. It is not loaded at all until you press Accept — not loaded and blocked, but genuinely not requested — and if you decline it is never loaded on any later visit either. IP addresses are anonymised.

Your choice is kept in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, so nothing is written to your device before you have chosen. You can change your mind at any time: reopen the cookie choice. Clearing your browser data also resets it.
